Marvel-Schebler numbers live on the brass tag riveted to the round “ping-pong paddle” boss near the air intake — or cast recessed into that boss on early units. The Ford part number may be on the mounting flange.

Carburetors were swapped constantly in service — the carb on a tractor today identifies the carb, not the tractor. Serial breakpoints are from Ford records and are approximate at the boundaries.
